USCEC 2nd Chairman, Dr. Byron Athan Visited China in 2003 协会第二任会长拜伦.雅典律师率协会代表团于2003年访问中国
At the invitation of the Mayor Mr. Guoqiang Lin of Nanning City, Guangxi Province, China, and the USCEC President, Mr. Byron Athan led a group of USCEC delegates including Vice President Dr. Andy Ge, Vice Chairwoman Ms. Willa Wu, Director Kate Hinke, Professor Rick Singson and Mrs. Meg Singson visited Nanning, Chengdu, Beijing and other cities in China in November 2003 for friendly exchange. The delegation received warm welcome from the General Office of China State Council, the Central Party School, and the SAFEA. The delegation also visited the Chinese High Court, The Chinese Olympic Organizing Committee, and the US Embassy in Beijing and US Consulate General in Chengdu and in Guangzhou for friendly exchanges. Both sides of Sino-US government agencies expressed the exchange programs of USCEC will be gained strong supports by them.
美国美中交流协会以会长拜伦. 雅典律师为团长的代表团一行6人于2003年11月访问了中国南宁，成都，北京等地，进行友好交流活动。代表团在北京访问期间，还受到了中国国家外专局陈阳进副局长，中国民建中央张榕明副主席，中央国家机关工委办公厅主任（现为中央工委副书记）邵旭军等热情接待。美中交流协会代表团的成功出访，在协会广大会员中引起热烈反响，众多会员期待着更多的中国之旅和与中国多方位多层次的全面友好交流。代表团在北京期间，还访问了中国高等法院，中国奥组委等有关机构，同时美国驻中国大使馆还特别约见协会代表团，就有关合作事宜进行了友好的交流.
交流团成员包括：协会常务副会长与加州圣何塞州立大学国际部首席学术顾问葛滨博士，协会理事会副理事长伍微娜女士，协会理事与加州大学资深教授欣生博士协会理事美国社团及家庭项目负责人凯克女士，协会美国文化项目负责人梅瑞，欣生女士。代表团在南宁和成都等地进行友好交流之后，抵达北京受到了热情接待。国务院办公人事司王杰司长设宴为代表团接风，中央党校副校长孙庆聚设宴为代表团送行。。
